 The Ponderosa Pine behind the pickup has been climbed, limbed, and ready to be topped. The next photo shows the size of the top, the size of the landing zone, and exactly where it was placed.
 The diameter of the wood where this top was cut is approx 3 inches. Sometimes a climber has to go way up there to get a small enough top to fit in the working space on the ground.
This Cedar tree above the skidsteer has been limbed topped and ready for the final cut from the ground. The homeowner was told by all other Tree Services in the area this project could not be done without a crane. Our crew went in there, rope lowered all the limbs and tops from six Cedar trees this size , then proceeded to accurately cut 20 foot log lengths as to miss all ground plants, and precisely drop them so they landed flat without bouncing or bucking. We carefully extracted them with the loader, and recycled the wood for saw logs.
This project was a backyard extraction of Juniper plants. They have a very strong and hearty root system. The new homeowners moved in and discovered they could see their neighbors over the fence while in their hot tub, so they opted to plant something that grows a little taller there.
These large Ponderosa Pine logs were growing directly behind this home in the back yard. The homeowner decided to remove them because he had replaced his roof twice from storm damage. Every one of these trees had to be climbed, limbed, accurately topped and precision landed. We had a 12 foot wide path on the right of the home in which to extract the material.
We recycle the trees we remove in as many ways as possible. Some trees are used for saw logs, some used to heat homes, and some of the wood goes to artists for their various projects.
